If you have breaking news in your sports department, like an important retirement or maybe a new hire, send it to be posted on the Website. It will go online within 48 hours (usually much sooner).

Also, color versions of any black and white photographs are welcome for submission. Color versions look so much better on the Web.

Chuck Grimes has been the Webmaster of the APSE Website since February 1999.

He works for DallasNews.com, the official Website of The Dallas Morning News. His title is Senior Project Specialist – Sports. His duties include creating and maintaining the look of the Websites for The Dallas Morning News, WFAA-TV 8, TXCN Cable News, the Denton Record-Chronicle, GuideLive.com and AlDiaTx.com. He has also worked on CowboysPlus.com, BigTex.com, TexasAlamanac.com, DFWPrinting.com and LoneStarEmmy.org.

Grimes has been a member of the media field since 1983. He spent 11 years at The News & Observer in Raleigh, N.C., and two years at the Houston Chronicle. Since 1996, he has worked for online news organizations. He worked at Nando.net (Raleigh, N.C.) and Alabama Live (Huntsville, Ala.) prior to coming to Dallas.
