USTWA contest deadline approaching
Story posted on Jan. 6, 2009
Dear APSE Member,
If you have written any tennis-related stories in 2008, you are invited to enter them in the U.S. Tennis Writers' Association's 10th Annual Writing Contest.
This exciting event honors the best in tennis writing, and we'd love to have some AP member entries!
We've got six categories, and first-place and second-place winners receive beautifully engraved Lucite awards, which are presented at the U.S. Open. Just ask past winners Bruce Jenkins (San Francisco Chronicle) or Art Spander (Oakland Tribune).
The deadline is Jan. 15. Click here for details on USTWA.org.
If you are interested in joining our organization, which is 40+ years old, head to www.USTWA.org. (USTWA members get the contest entry fees waived!)
Best wishes in 2009 and GOOD LUCK in the writing contest.
Take care,
Liza Horan
