1-2:30 p.m. — Executive Committee meeting.
2:30-3:30 p.m. — One-on-one with the AP. Terry Taylor will be available to talk about Olympic coverage, individual concerns and changes in AP offerings.
3:45-4:45 p.m. — Small newspaper caucus.
5-6 p.m. — AP newcomers reception.
6:30-8:30 p.m. — Opening night reception at U.S. Constitution Center on Independence Mall.
9 p.m. — AP hospitality suite.
7:45-8:15 a.m. — Coffee and juice.
8 a.m. — Late registration.
8:15-9:15 a.m. — Opening general membership meeting.
8:30-9:30 a.m. — Spouse/guest orientation.
9:45-11:15 a.m. — The Ground Breakers. Tyrone Willingham, the football coach at Notre Dame; Damon Evans, the athletic director at Georgia; and Herman "Remember the Tians" Boone. Moderator Dr. Richard Lapchick, professor at the University of Central Florida and a nationally recognized expert on race and sports.
