The Spokesman-Review (Spokane, Wash.) is preparing to launch a new web design on Labor Day. It promises to be easier to navigate and will have easy access to all platforms. If you call up a story you will also get everything connected to the story – audio, video, photos, history of subject. Sports Editor Joe Palmquist says he'll provide an update once the new program launches. The newspaper has also moved sportswriter Nick Eaton into a full-time videographer role. He will be creating videos on many of the major sporting events in the area, especially
Washington State football and basketball and Gonzaga basketball. He will also produce weekly features on prep sports.
