The night of Super Bowl XLI went smoothly. Thanks to a convincing victory and a game that finished before 10 p.m. All of our writers, spread throughout the stadium, remained on their e-mail throughout the game so that we could be in constant communication. Thus, all angles were covered and there was no duplication.

We rolled a 20-page section, thanks again to robust ad sales, and had lots of room for photos. We had one photo page with fans, and a whole page dedicated to Prince's halftime who, with photos and a music review.

During the game, several staffers – from the beat writers to the pop-music critic to the sports business writer to our consumer columnist – blogged on our website.

We're all glad it's over and trying to forget for a while that the Super Bowl comes back in three years.
